Recently, Tech (Lanzhan Technology), China's leading intelligent driving technology Lanzhan, announced that it has reached a deep strategic cooperation with domestic head new energy vehicle manufacturers. The two sides will jointly develop a full-stack automatic driving solution for L3/L4 city NOA(Navigate on Autopilot) scenarios. This cooperation marks a key step in the strategic upgrade of Lanzhan Tech from a single algorithm supplier to a "soft and hard collaboration, vehicle road cloud integration" technology service provider.
According to official disclosure, the joint project has entered the stage of real vehicle testing. The test vehicle carrying Lanzhan Tech's self-developed perception fusion platform "VisionFusion-X" and multimodal decision planning system' PathMind Pro' has completed more than 500000 kilometers of mixed road testing of closed roads and open urban areas in 12 cities such as Shenzhen and Hangzhou. The system achieves a single task completion rate of 99.98 in typical Chinese road conditions such as left-turn at complex intersections, unprotected U-turn, detour in construction areas and high-density pedestrian crossing, with an average takeover mileage of 128 kilometers, significantly better than the industry average.
Lanzhan Tech, said: "China's urban traffic environment is highly dynamic and unpredictable, and it is difficult for a general-purpose automatic driving scheme to really land. We adhere to the "scene definition technology", this time with the vehicle factory to build a joint laboratory, from chip selection, sensor calibration, data closed loop to OTA iteration of the full link, to ensure that the algorithm and vehicle dynamics deep coupling. It is reported that the two sides have jointly applied for 27 patents related to automatic driving, of which 14 involve BEV + Transformer multi-sensor space-time alignment technology and lightweight end-to-end control model.
, it is worth noting that this cooperation adopts the dual-track mode of "front-loaded mass production + subscription service": the basic intelligent driving function comes standard with the delivery of new cars, the high-level city navigation capability is opened on a monthly basis through software subscription, and continuous optimization of data feedback based on user driving behavior is supported. The first batch of models equipped with this scheme is expected to start delivery in the fourth quarter of 2024, covering two categories of mid-to-high-end SUVs and smart cars.
industry analysis pointed out that Lanzhan Tech's cooperation broke the linear supply relationship between the traditional Tier 1 and the host plant, and built a new industrial ecology of "technology co-research, data co-governance and revenue sharing. With the accelerated landing of the policy-side "Smart Network Vehicle Access Management Rules", local AI-driven technology companies, represented by Lanzhan Tech, are becoming the core engine driving the commercialization of autonomous driving in China.
